The Intermission x Eins Gallery
Socrates Fatouros
Endangered Games
28 January – 4 April, 2026
The Intermission and Eins Gallery present Endangered Games, the solo exhibition of Socrates Fatouros in Piraeus.
In Endangered Games, Socrates Fatouros constructs an environment that encloses images of indeterminate time, a displaced landscape where nature, industry, and memory coexist under conditions of tension and risk.
Industrial materials function as canvases upon which painting emerges through traces, incisions, and burn marks, with every surface becoming a site of transcription and every mark a form of writing. These irreversible gestures reveal the proximity between creation and destruction.
Socrates Fatouros is a visual artist based in Athens, Greece, whose practice explores
movement, symbolism, and the subtle narratives embedded in everyday gestures. With a practice encompassing drawing and sculptural forms, his work draws from memory, myth, and personal experience, transforming the ephemeral into contemplative objects. His practice is defined by a refined sensitivity to both concept and material, balancing restraint with poetic resonance.
